Conquest Couch

(Patented Turf)

 Conquest Couch Lawn

Description:

Conquest is a Semi-dwarf variety with a bright mid green colour year round when maintained correctly.

Conquest can be mowed both extremely short and long depending on the use intended. It's main strength, when compared to other wear tolerant couches, is that Conquest has limited thatching and doesn't show severe signs of scalping after mowing.

Conquest is winter active, low thatch and environmentally friendly.

Very quick to establish with a root system that can reach 100mm in 21 days.

Conquest recovers quickly from damage and needs less watering and fertlising than other couches.

It will discolour if temperature drops below 5 degrees celsius.

Maintenance:

Fertiliser and water requirements are much lower than other green couches.

For best results, fertilise a little often, ie 1kg every 100m2, every 6 wks.

A deep heavy watering of 15 - 20mm once per week is sufficient for Conquest to develop a deep root system.

Mowing should be carried out once per week in the growing season and once per fortnight in winter.
